Positive Psychology- New Class fall 2009

Positive Psychology– this is a new class is being offered in the Health Science Department fall semester 2009. The instructor is Dr. Dan Daley, a 11574792licensed psychologist at UVRMC.  Dr. Daley indicates that the course will “focus on the psychological aspects of happiness as embodied in the research of positive psychology.  A foundational understanding of positive psychology will be examined and selected related topics will be discussed including: relationships, self-esteem, mindfulness, visualization, empathy, love, achievement and humor.  Finally, an application of positive psychology to public health administration will be introduced.”

If you are interested in taking this, please register for Hlth 403R Section 2. The class is held on Thurs from 4-6:30 p.m.
