Summer Jobs at Utah County Health Department

Multiple Job Openings at the Utah County Health Department this summerjobwanted2

This is part of the stimulus bill and is being called the Summer Stimulus Internship Program.

Up to 10 or more jobs will be available for college-age youth.

Details:

  • For young adults, 18-24
  • Qualify for low-income status (single: under $10,830/yr. Married with no children: $15,142)
  • Hours can be up to 32-40/week and the funding will last from June 1st-Sept. 30th (up to full time but not necessarily required)
  • Interested persons will apply through Dept. of Workforce Services, Mountainland Region (drop off applications to either the Provo, Sp. Fork, or American Fork offices)
  • Dept of Workforce Services will select applicants based on hiring qualifications given to them by the Health Dept.
  • Apply by May 7th - only two weeks away.

This is a great and rare opportunity for students to get a paid job in public health!! Pick up applications at the BYU Health Science office or the Utah County Health and Justice Building (151 S. University Ave. Suite 2800).

You are not required to be completing an internship to apply.
