Internship & Volunteer Opportunities at Utah County Health Department

INTERNSHIPS at Utah County Health Department (UCHD)

Almost all internships full for summer. Ones listed below are primarily for fall. Check back in August for the latest update of fall opportunities.

*Health Promotion

Maybe a couple internships for fall, hard to know at this point. Check back with Eric Edwards (801-851-7097) or Stephanie Raleigh Bennion in August.

*Tobacco prevention and control/health education (Maybe one for summer if qualified, one for fall)
Tasks include coordinating the Speaker’s Bureau, working with youth group OUTRAGE, helping to promote the new smoke-free park legislation and events related to it. *Environmental Health (2 interns needed Fall)

Possible projects: Asthma Coalition Coordinator, Radon Awareness and other exciting projects.
