Internship: Utah Senior Care Council- Winter semester

The Utah Senior Care Council, a non-profit organization based in Utah County, is looking for a public health intern to start January 2010.

Hours: 10 hours per week. Must be available every Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. for an agency meeting.

Pay: $5 per hour

Skills: computer skills; written and verbal communication; initiative. Knowledge of gerontology-related issues is a plus.

This is a new initiative for the Utah Senior Care Council. The intern will be involved in establishing a system for connecting people with resources and education related to senior care. This resource is primarily for care-givers and professionals who interact with seniors.
