Internship with Dept of Public Safety- FILLED NO LONGER AVAILABLE

THIS INTERNSHIP HAS BEEN FILLED AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE 12/17/2009

Internship opportunity with the Utah Department of Public Safety, Occupant Protection Program.

Potential projects:

1) Child Passenger Safety Training and Education program with day care centers, pre-schools, social work or family services. This would include an assessment and pilot test in a specific county or statewide.  Also create a program where agencies can receive resources and information on the basics of child passenger safety, etc.  This is a very short description of this project but it could be as large or as small as the intern wants to make it.

2) Facebook and Twitter.  An intern would help establish some type of program using these social networking opportunities.

3) Other areas may include a pedestrian or bicycle program and drowsy driving activities

Stipend may be available.
