Public Health Students,
The following changes are being made to internship prerequisite courses. These changes are being made so that internship requirements are consistent across all tracks.
The internship is required for Health Promotion students. All other tracks have internships as an elective. In reality, the internship is one of the most valuable experiences you can have as an undergraduate student. It will give you experience for your resume and open doors for future employment.
These prerequisites will be effective winter semester 2010 for Epidemiology, Environmental/Occupational Health, and Health Science tracks. For Health Promotion students, they will be effective starting fall semester 2010.
