Huntsman Cancer Institute Internship Opportunity

Huntsman Cancer Institute

Outreach interns must be college seniors or graduate students.  Interns must have reliable transportation and insurance.

Outreach interns attend community events, health fairs, and other cancer related events to provide information about cancer prevention and screening. Interns help with program planning, writing grants, and presentations at local schools, churches, and community organizations.

This is an unpaid internship.  We provide mileage reimbursement for travel to/from events, and a meal voucher each day you intern for use at one of our restaurants.

A resume, two letters of reference, personal interview and orientation are required. Interns must sign a confidentiality agreement, receive a satisfactory result of a criminal background check, and get an annual tuberculosis screening, provided by HCI. Interns are asked to be discreet in their interactions with patients, respecting confidential information.
