The incumbent assists with collection, processing, compilation, computation, analysis, editing, and/or presentation of research data in the programmatic assignment area. Assignments are designed to provide training and experience to the incumbent on the methods and techniques of research projects. Provides support to senior level statisticians charged with responsibility for conducting statistical research projects focused on the causes, incidence and cost of accidents, diseases and disabling illnesses for the purpose of identifying, analyzing, and reporting on emerging public health issues and problems.
