Duties include partnering with other agencies to organize varnishings in 20 Title I elementary schools throughout Utah County, and may also include:

• Improving client services
• Planning events
• Helping with the quarterly newsletter
• Care coordination
• Fundraising
• Grant writing
• Other duties as needed.

Community Health Connect is looking for someone ASAP in January but absolutely must have someone in office for the month of March. A flexible schedule is REQUIRED since the varnishings vary and are held many different days of the school week in the morning and/or afternoon.

Qualifications:

• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be organized and good at problem-solving
• Must be dependable
• Interest in non-profit sector a plus
• Must be passionate about eradicating health inequalities
• Spanish language skills strongly preferred

Internship is un-paid but mileage reimbursement will be available. This is a great way to get your foot in the door with a local non-profit doing great stuff! We always give first priority to prior volunteers and interns when hiring for paid positions.
